I am a communications professional focusing on internal communications both from a content as well as from a technology perspective. I have been involved in developing and managing intranets since the beginning of this century, taking the term intranet rather as a metaphor for connecting people and information in a company. It still excites me to be part of this journey which started with a collection of hand-scripted HTML pages, evolved with CMS, blogs, wikis and ESN methods to finally expand into a multifaceted digital workplace environment, only to probably disappear very soon as a defined structure with the emergence of GenAI. I have just successfully completed the migration of our social intranet Allianz Connect into the strategic global digital workplace of Allianz and I am looking forward to telling you this story together with my colleague Regina Ohnsorge on Intranet Reloaded 2024.

I am a Senior Project Manager rolling out the Allianz Intranet ‘AZ Connect’ to our entities worldwide.
With my bachelor’s degree of business information systems in my pocket, I have garnered extensive experience across diverse companies and areas. Back in 2014, I collected my first rollout experience at the Allianz family by onboarding entities to a fully virtual work environment. My passion and ambition have driven me to the role of senior program manager of Infrastructure Services, where I excelled in leading agile Infrastructure and Database migrations to the cloud from 2020 to 2021. My proficiency with JIVE and workplace tools such as Office 365, namely MS Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage and more equipped me to effectively manage the substantial initiative of migrating 49 Intranets into a fully integrated, digital experience on Office 365 within one year.

Fun fact: I could not live in a place without mountains, as I enjoy downhilling, hiking, skiing and snowboarding.
