A versatile Social- & Organizational Psychologist by training, I started my career as a teacher in (Higher) Education (PUCE Ecuador, IAP Zurich, Stanford US, Cambridge UK), moved into Business Consulting, then into Corporate Learning, Leadership & Talent Development, OD and Executive Coaching; over two decades I enjoyed expanding my experience, know how and scope of responsibility in diverse roles and cultural -, organizational realities in workplace learning and in organizational-, leadership and talent development.
During a 5 y stay in Silicon Valley, I honed my skills in global leadership development, digital learning, entrepreneurship, design thinking and innovation. As a member of a global leadership team in a large transformation program, I took a deep dive into knowledge management and digital learning practices to enable our leaders and teams to bring medicines to patients faster and more sustainably.
I had extensive exposure to a global, complex matrix organization where I worked with engineers, scientists manufacturing workers, senior leaders, managers and talent at all levels (Roche Diagnostics & Roche Pharma, affiliate & HQ, local and global, functional and cross-functional roles, Switzerland & US Genentech Inc) Yet, it's the rich diversity of additional professional endeavors that also shaped my professional identify - be it the work in poverty reduction in an NGO in South America, in Management Development in a public institution, as an HR leader in corporations, as a consultant in the Nr 1 Swiss business psychology company, as department head for Executive master programs in Corporate Learning Leadership and as faculty/tutor at Stanford US, Cambridge UK and IE Spain.
I am a self-aware, very creative curious leader who enjoys change and collaboratively realizing an ambitious vision. I am very resourceful in finding the best-fit solutions for executing strategies by mobilizing the right talent in the right way. Partners invite me to conversations where we discuss big picture strategic questions to creatively solve complex problems while adjusting to the unexpected.
I enjoy evidence based dialogue in teams & networks where there is a genuine sense of trust and mutual support to get things done together, pragmatically.
My professional path has been rewarding and I am grateful for the many opportunities I was offered. Today, I am looking for novelty, a new meaningful challenge at the interface of Learning, Leadership, Talent and OD where I can mobilize others to realize a master piece and co-create impact for peers, customers and society.
