After working in communication and advertising for years, Susanna started her job at Roche as Manager Internal Communication and Operational Support in the Research & Development Department in Pharma Section of Roche Diagnostics GmbH. With many years of experience in digital branding, communication consulting, and project management for various clients, she has already been through some interesting professional stages before joining Roche. After her master's degree in humanities, she started working in a below-the-line marketing agency for 3 years and moved on to a creative and advertising agency in Munich where she worked for 5 years. Eventually, she became self-employed in the field and continued working for various clients and agencies. In 2016, she joined Roche and supported various projects, mainly in the IT area. In 2020, she applied for her current position, which she performs with great dedication and passion. Together with 2 colleagues, she created a new system for network communication in a big organization and together with the colleagues is responsible for the content and creation of the weekly newsletter. Susanna lives in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, is married, has 2 children aged 5 and 10, and 2 dogs.
Besides internal communication, she is passionate about New Work and has been part of the organizational transformation from the beginning, trying out many New Work methods and is a big fan of role-based working and flat hierarchies. Making teams and collaboration more efficient and getting "horsepower on the road" is also her strength. Furthermore, she is passionate about Mental Health topics within a role she holds in a Culture Circle in her organization. People are always the focus of her work.
